Get Involved

the church is your platform...

There's a lot going on @ Praise Embassy that you can benefit from and be a part of. We focus heavily on helping our members develop their skills and calling and support them as we reach out to the world - from our local community of Basingstoke to all the nations of the earth.

Our hope is that through the unrelenting efforts of our members, ambassadors, and collaboration with other churches and mission projects we are able to fulfil the Great Commission of Christ.

If you have any ideas or ongoing mission projects that you will like Praise Embassy to be a part of, please contact Jide or Roben who will be glad to help. Remember, the church is a community of friends and also a platform that helps you fulfil your call.

In the summer of 2017,  Praise Embassy and 58 other churches across Hampshire are bringing Who Cares? to their communities to show that not only do we care but also that Jesus cares.

Churches will begin by listening when people are given a card and asking the simple question ‘What Hurts You The most?’.

The churches involved will then analyse the responses and respond with compassion, tailoring the normal activities and ministries of the church to meet local people’s needs in an effective and realistic way.

e-Evangelists

Today, more than half the world's population have some form of social media presence. As a church we seek to creatively advance the gospel of Jesus Christ through the internet and social media platforms.

The church is engaging on several digital and social media initiatives and providing training to young evangelists to help safely explore existing and new platforms for the sharing of the gospel.

Praise embassy is currently developing www.jesuschatroom.org which will be launched in 2018 as a social platform where everyone can seek to discuss Jesus! - from the curious to the matured, from the atheist to the preacher, everyone is welcome.

Community Projects

Through our community initiatives we support local projects organised by the Council, One Church Basingstoke (an umbrella organisation that brings all churches in Basingstoke together) and other  local charities.

We believe strongly that the local church must be an agent of positive change in the community, hence we seek to bring projects that will be of benefit to people within our communities. Some of our projects include:

Back2Work -  Kicks off in September 2017 to help those who have been out of work for a while to develop new employable skills. please check out the Special events website for more information or email the team using the 'Find out more link below.
