2Corinthians 5:20So we are Christ’s ambassadors!

There's a lot going on @ Praise Embassy that you can benefit from and be a part of. Our focus is to develop capabilities within the church and utilise them to reach out to the world - from our local community of Basingstoke to all nations of the earth. Hence, through the unrelenting efforts of our team of Ambassadors, we are able to fulfil the Great Commission of Christ.

There are three key ministries within the church - Family & Natural Groups, Social Action & Outreach and Discipleship & Development. They are enabled by our Operations, Worship, Hospitality, Media and Technology to serve the church members, the community and the world at large. There are several small groups in the church that you can be a part of, some of them are listed below.

Children's Church

The children's church caters for four age groups. There are soft-play toys, books and games provided to help the mental, social and spiritual growth of our young ones.

Their teachers regularly employ music, dance, drama, painting, pottery and other art forms to teach them, these allow the children to discover and express their talents as they learn about God.

We celebrate Children's day every last Sunday in May. Also, the kids have Summer and Christmas parties where they can bring their friends along!

The Children church is open from 10 -10:45am and 11:30 - 12:30pm every Sunday.

Outreach & Social Action

We actively engage within the community and collaborate with other churches and charities to support members of the community to make Basingstoke and Hampshire a better place to live and work.

Our outreach team are also responsible for sharing the gospel of Christ through different initiatives that can be assessed by the community and to different age groups.

Please check out the 'Get Involved' section to see some of the on-going mission initiatives that you can participate in.

You can also contact Jide or Roben to find out more.

Pastoral Care

Through our pastoral care team, we are able to identify and respond to the welfare and spiritual needs of our members.

As a church, we believe in the principles and lifestyle of the disciples as recorded in the book of Acts and the letters of Paul ensuring that no one lacks within the church.

We encourage our members and others within the basingstoke community who may have physical or spiritual needs to contact our confidential Pastoral Care initiative and we will do our best to help, please use the link below.

Women's Ministry

Praise Embassy women get together once every month to pray for their families, careers and the church. From 2017, they will also organise 'Beautiful', an annual women's Conference that seeks to help women discover their God-given purpose and empower them to run with it.

Please check our annual events page to find out more about Beautiful

Prayer is an integral part of our worship services, We also have dedicated times during the week when we come together to pray.

They are also responsible for organising social events, making sure that everyone is comfortable and are having a good time. The Hospitality members are the first set of people you will likely meet as you arrive in church, welcoming you with a smile and ushering you to the best seat available. Youth & Young Adults

Adaora is our Youth Pastor, she works closely with our teenagers and young adults to ensure that their needs are being met through every aspect of the church.

Every year, we have a Youth and Young Adult service, where the sermon, music and all service operations are conducted by the Youth.

Twice a month, the youth run their services in a relaxed and fun way...just the way they like it!

There's also YH - a creative hub and social gathering for young people meeting during the week.

Please contact the church office if you need more information or email Adaora via the link below.

Music & Worship Team

The Praise Band are a team of worship leaders and musicians who work tirelessly to ensure that quality praise and worship is offered to God every service.

The team of singers meet every Friday evening for rehearsals.

They sing a lot of contemporary christian songs, gospel, hymnals and some of their songs are written by in-house singers with albums and songs released to bless the entire body of Christ.

The Praise Band are open to collaboration with other churches and groups and are happy to minister at your next event.

Men's Fellowship

The men of Praise Embassy are a very social bunch. So, apart from hanging out to discuss issues that are peculiar to men and fathers, they often organise social events through tout the year.

It is not unusual to find them at the Leisure park doing one activity or the other or at any of the restaurants at Festival place, particularly when any of the younger men are about to tie the knot...

The men's fellowship also look after mother's day celebrations, which are always a fun day at singing with their deep voices, men handing out roses to every female in church and a once we had all the men come together to cook for the whole church!
